The North Tahoe Fire Department recently held its annual Awards and Promotions Ceremony at the North Tahoe Events Center in Kings Beach California. The following awards were presented:
The Firefighter of the Year award was given to Captain Alan Whisler

The EMS Excellence Award was presented to Firefighter Paramedic Steve McNamara
Firefighter Paramedic Steve McNamara receives the EMS Award of Excellence
The Field Save Award was presented to:
Firefighter/Paramedic Steve Casella, Firefighter/Paramedic Julie Osburn, Firefighter/Paramedic Jamie Sheppard, Firefighter Paul Joslin, Firefighter Nicole Paynter, Acting Captain Kim Vail
The The following personnel received Length of Service Awards:
