Division Chief of Operations Alan Whisler heads the District’s Training Division

The goal of this Division is to provide a high-quality, comprehensive training program to help prevent firefighter injuries and protect life and property. This is accomplished through regularly scheduled annual, monthly, and daily training designed to meet or exceed national standards and regulatory requirements. Topics, scheduling, and curriculum are developed by the Training Chief, Training Officers, and Training Committee which are guided by the NTFPD Career Development Guide and standard evolutions.
